Tom Petrella spent more than 25 years in the tradeshow and event industry providing executive direction and leadership for key customers resulting in measurable account growth. In addition to the business development function, he provided complete turnkey project management services including experiential marketing, design, exhibit fabrication and onsite event supervision. Starting at I&D in 1984, he moved to Display Arts (acquired later by Avalon Exhibits/Art Guild) in 1986 initially as an Account Executive and rose through the ranks to VP, Sales & Marketing. Tom returned to I&D/Nth Degree in 2003 as VP, National Accounts until 2010. He later made a career change to the family business called Remline as VP, Sales & Operations.
Tom passed away on July 2, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 23, 1961, Tom grew up in Bellmawr, New Jersey, and resided in Newark, Delaware, with his wife, Stephanie. He was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School, where he played and coached baseball and football. He went on to graduate from Glassboro State / Rowan University with a degree in business. He is survived by his devoted wife, Stephanie, and their daughter, Anna Petrella Pallme (Matthew). He was affectionately known as “Papa” to his beloved granddaughter, Eloise Blake. Tom is also survived by his big brother, Louis “Lou” Petrella (Debbie) of Whippany, New Jersey, and his sister, Margaret “Meg” Skotnicki (Dan) of Sewell, New Jersey.
