Alan Brand has a long-standing relationship with the exhibition industry spanning more than 25 years. He began his career with Creatacor, Inc. in 1999, gaining extensive experience in trade show exhibit design, production, and client services. In 2006, he transitioned to AM&J Digital, where he continued supporting the exhibition industry through the sales and development of custom graphics, exhibit solutions, and related event marketing services.
Two years ago, while on a family vacation in Philadelphia watching his favorite team, the Philadelphia Flyers, Alan’s life changed forever. After suddenly becoming very ill, he was rushed to the hospital where doctors discovered he had end-stage liver disease and would need a liver transplant. Recently, Alan’s condition has worsened. He has faced multiple hospitalizations, complications from his liver disease, and has now been diagnosed with liver cancer.
Alan’s liver cancer diagnosis has resulted in significant unexpected financial hardship for his family. His treatment requires weekly radiation visits in New York City, approximately three hours from home, including overnight stays, travel, lodging, related medical expenses, and missed work time.
