Autumn Gozzola spent a number of year’s as part of the Exhibit Concepts family working out of our Elgin office then as a remote employee. Autumn’s husband, Tim Gozzola is also in our industry and has worked as a I&D field installation Manager exclusively for Exhibit Concepts for more than 10 years.
In March, Autumn’s world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Spindle Cell Sarcoma, a rare and highly aggressive form of cancer. Since receiving this devastating diagnosis, she has endured an incredibly difficult journey, spending time in four different hospitals while searching for specialized care and treatment options. The road has been heartbreaking. Due to the rarity and severity of her condition, Autumn has faced significant challenges finding an oncologist willing to take on her case. She has been told by medical professionals to prepare for the worst, but Autumn and her family continue to hold on to hope and treasure every day together.
For the past three months, Autumn has been living in a care facility where she receives pain management and supportive care. During this time, the emotional, physical, and financial burdens on Autumn, Tim, and their family have continued to grow. We are asking for help to ease the financial strain caused by medical expenses, long-term care costs, lost income, travel expenses, and the countless unexpected challenges that come with a diagnosis like this.
