Our dear friend and colleague, Bob Moser passed away after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. What can you say about a man who spent close to 30 years with Optima helping the company grow from infancy to industry giant? Innovator, problem solver, tireless worker, friend, Bob always put the customer first but made sure that Optima was a close second. Well before Taylor’s acquisition of Optima, Bob was pushing us into alternative markets. And, Bob pioneered the sales relationship with Taylor that drives so much of our business today. I can’t remember ever walking into a Taylor facility without the first question being “How’s, Bob?”. Or, the Huddles where someone was searching for parts to complete a custom job…the answer was often “they’re under Bob’s desk”. Under Bob’s desk = Warehouse 3!!!
In speaking with Laura, his wife, she reiterated how much the Optima Family meant to Bob and how much he enjoyed reading all of the cards and letters sent to him over his final months. All of us cherish special memories of Bob and, like those cards and letters, they are yours to keep and to share forever. Bob, thank you for everything and by the way, where are those little sticks for the H+R Block job?
