Ricky Conway started his career in the trade show industry in 1978. He started his career in California working for several different exhibit companies including The Exhibit Place. He has been on the bench at Pinnacle Exhibits in Hillsboro, OR since 2006.
In September of 2017 Ricky was diagnosed with cancer in his neck. He underwent multiple surgeries and radiation therapy, returning to work between procedures and working as many hours as he could, in spite of the fact that he has a 2 hour commute each way. He is currently back at work awaiting the results of his recent biopsy.
Ricky is the sole provider to his family. His limitations at work has seriously diminished the hours he works and his take home pay creating significant hardship for him and his family. It is also not clear how long he can continue to work at all.
