John Magness is an Account Executive for Pinnacle Exhibits.
On July 3 John was running late for the ANIME show in Los Angeles. He hopped on a rental scooter to travel the 10 blocks. He has no memory of what happened during that trip except he woke up face up with his sock stuck into his head to keep from bleeding out and keeping his brain in. He spent time in LA hospital with concussion, compression fractures, broken ribs,a lacerated skull. He has to wear a halo device with support rods drilled into his brain. He is healing. His family rented a motorhome to drive him back to Oregon where he remains at this time.
