Cyndi Castro has been a Storage and Service Coordinator of Featherlite Exhibits since August of 2014, who, unfortunately, has been furloughed as a result of the COVID pandemic.

One year ago Cyndi’s fiance and longtime partner, Jeff Houghtaling, was brutally attacked by his brother who has long history of drug abuse and mental illness.  He went into a coma and was put on life support for traumatic brain injury.   Through months of care, which included the insertion of a ventricular drain to remove the fluids placing pressure on the brain, Jeff is now out of the hospital and, luckily, has Cyndi to be his primary care provider.

But the financial burden on Cyndi and Jeff has been immense.   Cyndi is unable to work even if she weren’t taking care of Jeff and the hospital bills and ongoing costs are daunting.
